2026 Board of Directors Candidates

 

Pat Wood

Pettis County - District 1

Pat Wood - 16075 Wood Rd., La Monte, MO 65337
 

Member since 1971. He is married to his wife Patty. They have two children and four grandchildren. Pat currently is the CMEC Pettis County, District 1 Director and holds the position of secretary/treasurer. Pat has been a beef and row crop farmer for 56 years. He served in the National Guard for six years. Pat is a member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, the Pettis County Cattlemen’s Association and serves on the University Extension of Pettis County. He has also been a draftsman for several local, small businesses.

Jake Hare

Saline County - District 1

Jake Hare - 26842 Harvest Ave., Malta Bend, MO 65339
 

Member since 2023. Jake is married to Hannah and works at Elmer Hare Ford Sales as a Parts Manager. He is the current CMEC Saline County, District 1 Director. Jake went to school for Industrial Automation/ Robotics. He spent three years in the automation field as a systems integrator before joining his family's business in 2024.

Stephen Borgman

Saline County - District 4

Stephen (Steve) Borgman - 36290 230th Rd., Marshall, MO 65340
 

Member since 1994. Stephen is the current CMEC Saline County, District 4 Director and the board president. He previously served as the board's vice president. A lifelong resident of Saline County, Stephen is married to Rachelle and has three children: Steph (Ryan), Ben (Taiya), and Eric (Audrey). They are awaiting the arrival of their first two grandchildren later this year. He is a graduate of Missouri Valley College and is a self-employed row crop farmer at Borgman Farms.

Kevin Gregory

 

 

 

Pettis County - District 1

Kevin Gregory - 19469 Houston Rd., Houstonia, MO 65333

Member since 1990. Kevin has been married to his wife Barbara for 36 years. They have four daughters and seven grandchildren. Kevin has farmed his entire life. He and Barbara are the owners of a farming cattle operation which began in 1932. The operation has a registered Polled Hereford herd. Kevin is a member of First United Methodist Church, the 2024 Missouri State Fair Inaugural 1901 Society, the Pettis County Cattlemen’s Association, and the American Hereford Association.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saline County - District 1

Daniel Kiser - 29397 Golden Ave., Malta Bend, MO 65339

Member since 2021. Daniel is a self-employed row crop farmer. He is an eighth-generation Saline County farmer and is training the ninth. Daniel is a Malta Bend R-V School District Board member and has held three different officer positions with the Malta Bend FFA.

Shane Fletcher - 22725 Poplar Ave., Marshall, MO 65340

Member since 2019. Shane has been married for ten years and has three children. He is an insurance fraud investigator with GEICO. He previously worked for the State of Missouri enforcing state and federal Department of Transportation regulations.
