Board of Directors

CMEC operations are carried out under the policies established by the board of directors. Nine directors serve on the board and are elected from among the membership at CMEC’s annual meeting. Each member has one vote in the election. Each director must be an active CMEC member and is elected for a three-year term. 

Ron Bledsoe, President

Ron Bledsoe

Saline County, District 2

Ron has been a CMEC member since 1985. Married to Vicki with 2 children, Ron is the owner/manager of a farming operation in northern Saline County, raising corn, soybeans and a cow/calf operation. He has worked in the crop insurance industry for the past 40 years. He is a Sunday school teacher and deacon for the First Baptist Church of Slater. He has served the cooperative as Board President and as the CMEC representative on the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperative's Board of Directors.
 

Stephen Borgman, Vice President

Stephen Borgman

Saline County, District 4

Stephen has been a CMEC member since 1994. He is married to Rachelle and has three children. Stephen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Missouri Valley College and is a self-employed farmer. He is a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and serves on the Board of Youth. Stephen also serves as West Saline Levee District director and currently serves as Vice-President of the CMEC Board of Directors.
 

Pat Wood, Secretary/Treasurer

Pettis County, District 1

Pat has been a CMEC member since 1971. He is married to Patty. Pat and Patty have two children and four grandchildren. He served in the National Guard for six years. He is a member of Missouri Cattlemen’s Association and Pettis County Cattlemen’s Association and serves the University Extension of Pettis County. Pat has been a beef and row crop farmer for 50 years. He has been the draftsman for several local small businesses and is co-manager of the MO Cattlemen’s Beef House on the State Fairgrounds.
 

Alan Zimmerschied, Director

Alan Zimmerschied

Saline County, District 3

Alan has been a CMEC member since 1999. Alan is married to Michelle and is the Automation Systems Integrator at Marshall Electrical Contracting. He has worked in industrial electrical and automation areas since 1998 and for four years was a control technologist at the power plant on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus.
 

Ronald Eickhoff, Director

Ronald Eickhoff

Pettis County, District 3

Ronald L Eickhoff: Member since 1971. Ron is a self-employed farmer and business owner. He and his wife, Carolyn, have been married for 50 years and have three daughters and six grandchildren. Ron is a past CMEC board member and during his service, was elected by his peers to serve on the Central Electric Power Cooperative’s board of directors. Ron earned his BS in Ag-Business and served in the Army National Guard. He is a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cole Camp, where he has served in various board positions. He is a member of the American Legion Post 305, the Cole Camp Swimming Pool, Cole Camp Jaycees, was Chairman of MO State Fair Access Day and served the Benton County R-I School board for twelve years.

Robert Leftwich, Director

Robert Leftwich

Pettis County, District 2

Robert has been a CMEC member since 1964. He and his wife Barbara Sue have two children and four grandchildren. A retired farmer, Robert also taught science at Northwest High School and served as Pettis County Collector for 36 years. Robert has served on the board of directors of the cooperative's wholesale power supplier, Central Electric Power Cooperative.

Robert Norton

Benton County, District 1

Robert has been a CMEC member since 1979. He is married to Mary with three grown children. Robert, a self-employed farmer, retired from the United States Navy in 1979. He has served with the Gideons for 10 years. Robert taught Vo-Ag at Cole Camp High School for nine years and one year at Windsor High School. He has also been employed by the Lincoln Producers Exchange and Kaysinger Equipment.
 

Jeremy Boedeker, Director

Jeremy

Saline County, District 1

Jeremy has been a CMEC member since 2014. Jeremy is married and has twins, age 14. He serves on the Malta Bend volunteer fire department. Jeremy is a farmer and contractor. His family has lived and farmed in Saline County for over 100 years. Jeremy is also part-owner of Boedeker Construction, LLC, a farm land improvement company that has been in business since 1957.
 

Jennifer Boatright, Director

Jennifer Boatright

Pettis County, District 4

Jennifer has been a CMEC member since 1997. She has been married to her husband, Matt, for 34 years. They have two married children and five amazing grandchildren with two more on the way. She was a Veterinarian at Thompson Hills Animal Clinic serving our community pets for 30 years until returning to our family farm. She and her husband own and manage Maplewood Acres Farm and J&M Veterinary Services.

The Boatright's were the 2017 Pettis County Farm Family. Jennifer is an active member of Maplewood Church where she teaches Sunday School and is an AWANA Leader. She was the Secretary and Board President for Applewood Christian School for eight years. She is a member of the Pettis County Cattlemen's Association, Pettis County Farm Bureau, and Missouri Cattlemen's Association. Jennifer also sits on the board of the Pettis County Extension Council and currently serves as the Treasurer for the Council.
